Cairn Homes expands pipeline

Housebuilding.THUMB_.jpegCairn Homes has built up a pipeline of 1,600 homes across 11 sites since its €400m (£292m) IPO in June.

In the Irish house builder’s results for the period 9 November 2014 to 30 June it generated revenue of €51m and acquired nine development sites for €130m with an end value, less VAT, of €569.9m.

The firm said that “a significant number of new site acquisition opportunities are expected to come to the market over coming months, following a quieter summer period”.

Michael Stanley, chief executive, said: “Following on from our very successful IPO, Cairn Homes has progressed the acquisition, planning and development of premium sites in the Dublin, Galway and Meath regions.

“The availability of prime development land continues to be a positive for Cairn Homes and the company is confident in its pipeline to deliver quality homes in a market where there is an acute shortage of supply.”
