Toys R Us has signed for its first two stores in Ireland and intends to open a further eight in the country.
The toy retailer has signed a deal with Green REIT for a 17,000 sq ft shop at Westend shopping park in Blanchardstown near Dublin at an annual rent of €350,000 (£254,000). The store will open in September.
It has also agreed with Green REIT to take a 17,800 sq ft unit at Parkway retail park at €200,000 pa.
