The developer of the Candy Crush franchise, King Digital, has leased 64,000 sq ft at the Ampersand building in Soho.
The office was recently completed by Resolution Property on behalf of Hong Kong’s Peterson HK.
King has taken all four office floors of the development on Wardour Street, W1.
Subjit Jassy of Resolution Property said: “Ampersand was conceived as a high quality, creative environment for innovative businesses and King fits perfectly with this ethos.
“Its decision to occupy the entire building so soon after completion is a great endorsement for the original vision for Ampersand. The leasing also confirms our belief that Soho really is an alternative tech location to its eastern neighbours.”
The Ampersand development team worked architects Darling Associates and UK designers to appeal to creative brands. The building features Paul Cocksedge’s spiral “Living Staircase”, together with a sculptural reception by Tom Hingston
DTZ and Hanover Green were letting agents for Ampersand; JLL acted for King Digital.
