M&G Real Estate has appointed Andrew Cook to its residential team as fund analyst.
Cook joins from CBRE London’s residential valuation team, where he was responsible for valuations of private rented sector schemes, ground rent portfolios and residential-led development sites.
He will report to Steve Holland, residential investment manager, and will analyse and structure direct real estate transactions, working closely with Alex Greaves, head of residential investment.
Amy Gibbs has also joined M&G’s residential team as an investment manager, reporting to Greaves.
Promoted from within the company, Gibbs has six years of specialist knowledge in the alternatives sector, specifically the student accommodation market. She will source and recommended residential and student assets to the residential team.
Greaves said: “The experience Andrew and Amy bring come at a time when we are seeing an increase in capital allocations from our clients into the rapidly evolving residential sector.”
The M&G group has made over £370m of residential rent investments since the beginning of 2013.
