Ashfield Land has bought a 64-acre site at Blackdog, five miles north of Aberdeen, for an £80m mixed-use development.
The 600,000 sq ft scheme will include up to 400,000 sq ft of business space and 200,00 sq ft of retail and leisure.
A revised masterplan for the site is currently being developed in partnership with Kirkwood Homes, which will take forward the adjacent site, which is allocated for 600 homes.
A proposal of application notice has been issued and a planning application will be submitted in early 2016.
