Aviva Investors is considering a sale of a £165m portfolio it bought to take advantage of a weak market following the downturn.
JLL has been appointed to advise on strategic options, including a sale, of the Peal Portfolio. It comprises the 22 assets within its UK Real Estate Recovery II Fund. Around half of the assets in the multi-sector portfolio are in London and the South East.
A final decision on whether a sale will proceed is expected next week.
The fund is not due to expire until 2018 but Aviva has decided to take advantage of the strong market and dispose of the properties.
