Plans have been submitted for 1,100 homes as well as retail, leisure and community space adjacent to the Omega South logistics park, Warrington.
Sitting on zones three-six of the masterplan, owned by a joint venture between Miller, the Homes and Communities Agency and KUC Properties, the new application will be determined in the autumn.
The residential areas are expected to be delivered over the course of 10 years.
