AO.com has signed for its new European distribution headquarters in Germany.
The online domestic appliances retailer will take a 10-year lease on a 440,000 sq ft shed in Bergheim, Germany.
The development land has been acquired by Prologis, which will commence construction before the end of 2015.
Savills industrial director Jonathan Atherton said: “We are pleased to continue our relationship with AO.com, utilising the strengths of our European network to secure this new facility. The warehouse will support the growth of AO.de and open up the potential to serve other European territories in due course.”
