First place for Lancs shed
A 7,815 sq ft freehold industrial unit in Chorley, Lancashire, was the top lot at Savills Nottingham’s latest auction on 3 September at Nottingham Racecourse, selling for £250,000.
Overall, the sale raised £4.7m and had a 72% success rate.
Resi plan for nurses’ home
Andrews & Robertson is offering a vacant former nurses’ home in Margate, Kent, with planning permission to build 29 self-contained apartments on a 34,767 sq ft development.
It is guided at £1.1m.
The sale takes place on 22 September at Hotel Russell, WC1.
Take a Welsh title at auction
Two historical titles are being auctioned at the next Paul Fosh sale on 17 September at the Park Inn Hotel, Cardiff.
They are the Ancient Welsh Historical Titles of the Manors of Talybont, Gwynedd, and of Glynbwch, Powys.
The titles are guided at in excess of £4,500 each.
Stage is set for Gloucester lot
An unusual house converted from a Sunday School near Glossop, Derbyshire, is being offered with a guide price of £325,000 by Edward Mellor Auctions on 16 September at the AJ Bell Stadium, Manchester.
At 3,500 sq ft, the vacant house has three bedrooms, a large basement, and a hall with a stage – possibly suitable for a dance studio.
