Savills has recruited Cushman & Wakefield’s chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Philip Ingleby has left the company just a week after the company completed its mega-merger with DTZ. He had been at the company for 13 years.
He was chief operating officer at Cushman prior to the merger with DTZ, while a new chief operating officer for the enlarged company is yet to be announced.
Ingleby will take on the role of chief operating officer for Europe at Savills and will be responsible for strengthening the company’s presence in Europe, taking it into new markets and creating new business lines.
He will work alongside chief executive of UK and Europe Mark Ridley and chief financial officer for Europe Craig Watson.
A Cushman & Wakefield spokesman said: “We can confirm the departure of Philip Ingleby, who will leave the firm after a short transition period to go to Savills in the new year. Philip has been with the firm for 13 years, the last 10 of which as chief operating officer, EMEA. We wish him well in his future career.”
