A five-acre former BT depot in Langley, Berkshire, has been put up for sale by Telereal Trillium.
The site has outline planning permission for 129 two-, three- and four-bedroom houses and one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Just over 26% of the site is allocated for affordable housing, with 24 units for social rent and 10 shared ownership.
The site is within a 10-minute walk of Langley railway station, where the Crossrail western route is due to open in 2017.
Colliers International residential development director Andrew White said: “Areas within the Thames Valley corridor that will benefit from Crossrail are increasingly in high demand from both renters and owner-occupiers. This site provides the potential for affordable family homes on the doorstep to London while being in close proximity to some well-regarded schools.”
Colliers International is acting on the site.
