Hong Kong developer Knight Dragon has secured planning consent for its revised £8.4bn Greenwich Peninsula, SE10, scheme, which is 50% larger than the previous masterplan.
The 15,720-home Allies & Morrison-designed scheme includes a £500m investment into public and social infrastructure, shops and leisure facilities along 1.6 miles of the River Thames.
Construction has already started on the first 3,000 homes, with 700 homes due for completion this autumn. As many as 28,000 people are expected to be living on the site by 2025.
