Property quite literally entered muddied waters last week when Paragon hosted an industry-wide extreme mud challenge.
The Mudathon 2015, on 4 September, saw professionals cut loose in a messy obstacle course of bog, quarry hill runs, vertical walls, cargo nets and tyre challenges to raise money for LandAid and Heartburn Cancer UK.
Honours in the male category went to Richard Trubshaw of Paragon, while Clare Grieves of Apss Group led the female pack. Apss Group was also the fastest team.
Paul Morrish, chief executive of LandAid, said: “Never let it be said the property industry can’t play dirty. Despite a 10km race through mud, obstacles and challenges, there was nothing on show but the finest sportsmanship, team spirit and camaraderie.”
Participants were greeted at the finish line with a festival-esque after-party, including a hog roast for hungry challengers and a live band.
A total of £3,000 was raised for the two charities.
