A former police box in Edinburgh’s west end was sold last week by Auction House Scotland.
The B-listed, TARDIS-like unit has been used as a coffee shop, and has permission for conversion into a café.
Inside, it is has oak shelving, running hot and cold water, and electricity.
It was guided at £25,000 at the firm’s 20 August auction at St Vincent Street, in Glasgow, but sold post-auction for £23,000.
Auction House director Andrew Binstock said the seller had “seriously considered” an offer of £65,000 prior to auction.
