Unite has bought two development opportunities in central Bristol for £21.5m.
The student housing developer has purchased the former eye hospital and former hotel Brunel House, and expects to be able to provide 900 beds, subject to planning.
The combined sites have a gross development value of £85m, and if planning is granted it aims to deliver them by 2019.
Unite managing director Richard Simpson said: “We look forward to developing these sites and adding more high quality student accommodation to our existing estate in a strategically important city.”
