SEGRO increases Bracknell holdings

SEGRO-sign-THUMB.jpegSEGRO has bought a 6.5-acre site in Bracknell, Berkshire, next to the existing 13-acre V Park, which it purchased earlier in the year.

The site was acquired from German pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim, and the acquisition means that V Park will now be able to accommodate up to 400,000 sq ft of urban logistics and light industrial development.

Gareth Osborn, Thames Valley business unit director at SEGRO, said: “There is strong occupier demand for modern logistics and light industrial facilities in Bracknell. By acquiring this land, neighbouring the site we bought in February, we will be able to create a 20-acre estate which will offer new employment opportunities to the local area.”

SEGRO was advised by Lambert Smith Hampton; Bilfinger GVA advised Boehringer Ingelheim.
