Camden council okays comedian’s plans for house

Camden council has approved plans submitted by comedian Michael McIntyre to extend his north London home.

The plans, which include enclosing an existing terrace on the first floor of the property and adding a new terrace on a flat roof, had been opposed by the Heath & Hampstead Society.

The six-bedroom Edwardian property was bought in 2009 for £3.2m and is valued now at £5.6m.
