Film highlights London’s housing crisis

The release of a film tomorrow based on a couple from the former Heygate estate will throw the light back on the subject of London’s housing crisis.

The availability of social and affordable housing in the capital – and elsewhere – has dropped sharply, and continues to fall. A report by the London Assembly put the number of homes lost at 8,000 over the last 10 years.

The film is called Larry and Janet Move Out.
