10 solutions for London’s housing crisis

New London Architecture has chosen the 10 winning entries in a competition to find solutions for the issues facing local authorities, developers and buyers.

Among the solutions, Baca Architects proposed floating homes for the capital’s canals, estimating that around 7,500 could be added in less than a year.

Parson Brinckerhoff calculated that 630,000 new homes could be added by building apartments on the top of public buildings in the city.
