Mayfair office block 7 Old Park Lane, W1, has come to market with a £75m price tag.

It is the first time that the 48,000 sq ft property has been bought to market in 25 years.

Let to 24 occupiers on short term leases, the block has potential for both extension and change of use.

Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed to market the opportunity on behalf of a private investor.

James Pargeter, director, West End investment, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Mayfair assets like this trade very infrequently. Only 12 freeholds have changed hands in the area since 2013.

“With more than 70% of Mayfair being owned by long-term investors or landed estates, 7 Old Park Lane has a real rarity value to it.’’
