London to get a second Shard

Sellar Property Group, the developer of the London Bridge Shard, is planning a sister skyscraper as part of the redevelopment of Paddington.

Plans for a 65-storey, 224-metre-high skyscraper, designed by architect Renzo Piano, were revealed on Tuesday. The building will include residential and office space, as well as restaurants on the 60th, 61st and 62nd storeys and a 5,000 sq ft roof garden.

If the building at 31 London Street goes ahead, it will be the equal-fourth tallest in the capital.
