Tamares, the private equity firm backed by the billionaire Zabludowicz family, has put its Mayfair headquarters on the market seeking bids in excess of £50m.
Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed to sell 41 Dover Street, W1, with a short-term leaseback to Tamares.
The 10,417 sq ft building will be sold with vacant possession in 2016 and has the potential for a luxury retail-oriented refurbishment or redevelopment.
Tamares, which owns several properties in north and west London, is likely to launch a requirement for new offices following the sale.
The building is next door to the historic Arts Club venue on Dover Street, which is also on the market.
