Argent has unveiled plans for its Thomas Heatherwick-designed retail revival of the Coal Drops buildings in the heart of its 67-acre King’s Cross regeneration, N1C.
Argent hopes the project will establish the area as a retail destination with close to 100,000 sq ft of shops, restaurants, bars and events space.
Plans will be submitted to Camden council imminently.
The Coal Drops Yard buildings were originally built in the 1850s to receive freight arriving from the North of England by train and were later used for warehousing and light industry.
