New home for Adam’s Michelin star restaurant in Brum

Adams-restaurant-Birmingham Michelin star restaurant Adam’s has signed a deal for a new home on Waterloo Street in the centre of Birmingham.

The upmarket restaurateur has taken 6,100 sq ft across two floors at the Duchy of Lancaster’s New Oxford House in the heart of the city’s central business district.

Adams will move from temporary pop-up location on Bennetts Hill into the former office space on the basement, ground and lower ground floors in January 2016.

The space was previously let to Société Générale.

Head chef and owner, Adam Stokes, said: “Before relocating to Birmingham, we researched and carefully considered all areas in and around the city. As time passed, we realised that the Colmore Business District was the area we had to be in.

“The property lends itself perfectly to the restaurant that I have always dreamed of running. The ground floor size and, particularly, shape will enable a beautiful flow for an amazing restaurant.”

Adam’s has also just been named as the best restaurant in the country, and 4th in the world by TripAdvisor and is one of five Michelin star restaurants in Birmingham.

Adams was advised by KWB.
