Pears Property has secured flatpack furniture giant Ikea for a new 50,000 sq ft store in Aberdeen.
The store will be one of the Swedish chain’s smaller concept shops and its first in the city.
It forms part of a reconfiguration of the 100,000 sq ft Makro cash and carry at Wellington Circle, where quoting rents are £18.50 per sq ft.
Makro is downsizing to a 40,000 sq ft store.
Tenants for the remaining 14,000 sq ft unit of are currently being sought.
