Empiric Student Property has bought a 314-bed property under construction in Cardiff from developer Fusion Students for £40m.
The property, which will include a mix of studios and two-bed flats, with communal facilities, is located in Windsor Place, a 10-minute walk from the University of Cardiff.
It is expected to be completed by August 2016, in time for the 2016-17 academic year.
The purchase brings Empiric’s student accommodation portfolio in Cardiff to 519 beds across four properties, including Summit House in Windsor Place.
