
M&G Real Estate and intu have secured new lettings totalling 18,000 sq ft at their 1.4m sq ft Manchester Arndale shopping centre.
O2 will launch its first UK “digital store”– its second outlet at the centre – in a 5,000 sq ft shop secured on a 10-year lease.
The new shop at 39 Market Street will feature enhanced in-store technology to better showcase products and services.
Five new brands coming to the shopping centre include Sock Shop (650 sq ft), Australian stationery company Smiggle (1,000 sq ft), fashion e-retailer House of CB (1,400 sq ft), juice bar Boost (1,200 sq ft) and shoe shop Ecco (2,500 sq ft).
Footwear retailer Deichmann has moved within the centre to a bigger store comprising a 5,291 sq ft unit – increasing its footprint by more than 1,000 sq ft.
Swatch is also relocating within the shopping centre to a 932 sq ft shop at 4, New Cannon Street.
