Investment syndicates may offer the best way for those with £50,000 to £100,000 to get into the commercial property sector.
Such syndicates offer investors the opportunity to enjoy both capital growth and income from rent.
Investment in commercial property exceeded £60bn last year, up from £52bn in the prior year, data from Legal & General Property showed. So far this year investment has totalled £47bn, ahead of levels for the corresponding period in 2014.
