BAM gets green light for £70m Leeds office tower

Latitude-Yellow-570pxBAM Properties has secured planning consent for a £70m office development in the West End of Leeds.

The 10-storey Latitude Yellow building proposed for Wellington Road will comprise 157,000 sq ft of Grade-A office space.

Pre-lets are being offered with quoted rents at £24 per sq ft and floor plates of 16,759 sq ft.

The development will include basement parking with space for 69 cars and 92 bikes.

BAM also has planning permission on its five-acre Wellington Road site for Latitude Blue, a 119,000 sq ft seven-storey office building.

The first phase of the Wellington Road scheme, Latitude Red, a 122,000 sq ft office building, was sold to IVG in 2007.

Joint letting agents on Latitude Yellow are Cushman & Wakefield and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
