Carlyle, the US private equity firm, is moving its UK headquarters from London’s Mayfair to St. James.
The move comes partly as a result of a lack of suitably sized properties in Mayfair for the company’s 250 staff. Its base there is set for demolition in two years.
Carlyle was looking for more modern office space, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.
