GVA Worldwide has agreed a strategic alliance with US commercial real estate agency TCN Worldwide.
The deal expands GVA’s global coverage as it seeks to compete with the world’s largest agents following its acquisition by Bilfinger last year. The agent previously had an alliance with US agent Cassidy Turley, which was bought by Cushman & Wakefield owner TPG earlier this year.
TCN is ranked among the top 10 US agencies by revenue. It operates in 200 markets worldwide from 59 principally US and Canadian offices and employs more than 800 fee-earners.
Its real estate management portfolio exceeds 80m sq ft and it has advised on nearly $40bn (£26.4bn) of deals.
Patrick Morrissey, chairman of Bilfinger GVA’s international arm GVA Worldwide, said: “This agreement is a significant step in our plans to expand and strengthen not just our transatlantic ties but our wider cross-border capability throughout the GVA Worldwide community.”
TCN, which is run by president and chief executive H Ross Ford III, boasts a client list including Carlyle Group, Texas Instruments, Jamestown, Dragados, Eland Energy, Uniqlo USA, HNA Group and Marlow Industries.
