Workspace Group has bought an office building in Surrey Quays, SE8, for £10.5m.
The 33,635 sq ft, six-storey property on Yeoman Street, named The Business Centre, is part of Barrett’s 7.5 acre Greenland Place development, which has 679 homes and retail space.
The building was originally sold to Barrett by the Bluebell Partnership, which retained ownership of the office portion prior to the sale.
The Business Centre has been designed to provide flexible workspaces across floorplates ranging in size from 4,678 to 6,654 sq ft, which can be divided.
Jeremy Grundy of Levy Real Estate, who advised Bluebell Partnership on the sale, said: “Greenland Place is an excellent mixed-use development in a rapidly emerging area of London.
“We are also leasing the retail element of the scheme and have recently put under offer a 4,969 sq ft supermarket unit in the project.”
