easyHotel gets consent for Manchester’s Flat Iron

Bradley-House-ManchestereasyHotel has received planning consent for a 116-bedroom hotel in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The hotel group bought Bradley House, a Grade II listed former shipping warehouse known as the Flat Iron, in June 2015, subject to receiving planning permission for a hotel.

Built in the 1800s, the building is located at the junction of Dale Street and Newton Street.

easyHotel estimated it would cost £6m to purchase and convert the building, which was previously used as offices.

The hotel is scheduled to open in the 2016-17 financial year.
