Scottish law firm sets up Glasgow base

Glasgow-THUMB.jpegScottish law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has secured the third floor of M&G Real Estate’s 1 West Regent Street in Glasgow city centre on a 10-year lease.

The company is relocating staff to the 13,700 sq ft office from its current premises at 191 West George Street.

The West Regent Street office comprises 143,000 sq ft of office and retail space over 11 floors. Two and a half floors remain available to let.

Shepherd and Wedderburn plans to take occupation in May and joins engineering firm Weir Group PLC, professional services companies Arup and FDM Group, media organisation Global and law firm CMS.

Restaurant and café chain Giraffe has opened on the ground floor and two retail units remain vacant.

JLL and Bilfinger GVA represented Clearbell and M&G Real Estate, while CBRE acted for Shepherd and Wedderburn.
