Caddick Developments has secured outline planning consent for a £150m redevelopment of Quarry Hill in Leeds city centre.
The 685,000 sq ft scheme would be opposite Hammerson’s £165m Victoria Gate shopping centre development.
Plans include 106,000 sq ft of offices, 35,000 sq ft of leisure uses, more than 700 homes, a multi-storey car park and 7,500 sq ft of shops, a medical centre and a series of public squares.
The site is located in Leeds’ cultural quarter, adjacent to the West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds College of Music and BBC Studios.
