Glenbrook has submitted a planning application for a major PRS scheme in the Castlefield area of Manchester.
The 232-unit scheme is to be located on the 1.25-acre site of the former Shepherd Gilmour office, which Glenbrook bought earlier this year.
Situated between Ellesmere Street and Chester Road, the 12-storey scheme will comprise more than 200,000 sq ft of accommodation alongside concierge facilities, a gym, storage area, basement car parking, a cycle store and car hire facilities.
Glenbrook director Ian Sherry said: “Manchester has a compelling case for continued investment in high-quality rental accommodation that allows residents to choose not only where to live but also the quality of accommodation and management on offer.”
Subject to planning, Glenbrook aims to start construction in May 2016 and complete the scheme in summer 2018.
