Helix Property Advisors has bought out partner Alaska Developments to bring its capabilities in house.
Alaska, founded in 1994, has a development portfolio in excess of 1m sq ft with a value of more than £450m.
Schemes include the 90,000 sq ft Hobhouse Court off Trafalgar Square, WC2, and the 267-room Print Hall student housing block in Bristol.
Helix chief executive Robin Fell said: “This [acquisition] is complementary to the property management and asset management business, and already a number of clients that we work with on the asset management side are involving Alaska with their development plans.”
The Alaska team have transferred to Helix, with Chris Moore appointed managing director and Alex Marshall as development director.
