Grainger has bought a 134-home regional PRS portfolio from Aberdeen Asset Management for £11.4m.
The Oystercatcher Portfolio consists of seven blocks in Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield, Sutton Coldfield and Grimsby.
Aberdeen fund manager Ed Crockett said the portfolio had been repositioned over a number of years and its sale would allow Aberdeen to focus on larger-scale residential investments.
The largely unbroken blocks of between eight and 26 homes have a gross yield of 7.1%. It is the second regional acquisition by Grainger in the past four months, with the 131-home North Star portfolio bought in October last year.
Savills acted for Aberdeen.
