George Smith HomewaresThe Portman Estate has unveiled a café from food blogger Deliciously Ella in Marylebone.

Open at 21 Seymour Place, W1, and set over 905 sq ft, the café is split between two floors. The ground floor features a hot and cold salad bar and seating for eight people, with booth style seating for a further 16 people downstairs.

The Mae Deli is the first deli venture from food blogger Ella Woodward.

Since launching Deliciously Ella in 2011, the site has received 5m-6m hits per month, and over 710,000 Instagram followers.

Philip Norris, head of retail at The Portman Estate, said: “We are delighted that Ella Woodward has chosen Seymour Place as the destination for her debut deli. Seymour Place has established itself as a must-visit dining destination in London, and the Mae Deli adds something new to Seymour Place’s already impressive food offering.”

The Mae Deli joins a host of independent occupiers on Seymour Place including Basque grill Lurra and Italian restaurant Bernardi’s, and The Portman pub.
