Audley plans retirement village on school site

Audley-logo-THUMb.jpegAudley Retirement Villages has bought the site of the former Stanbridge Earls School in Romsey, Southampton, for around £10m.

The six-acre site, which includes a Grade II listed Tudor manor house, will be redeveloped into Audley’s thirteenth retirement village.

Audley is now in the process of consultation with members of the local community and the council in order to develop a planning permission application.

The firm recently received £170m in investment through a Moorfield Managed Fund, which will be used to fund its existing development programme as well as fund new acquisitions.
