Aroland Holdings has submitted plans for 1 Undershaft, EC3, which is set to be the tallest tower in the City.
The 1,015 ft, 73-storey tower, designed by Eric Parry, will comprise 970,000 sq ft, including 20,000 sq ft of basement shops and a restaurant at its summit.
It will replace the Aviva Tower.
The submission follows a public consultation held in December last year, which Parry said had resulted in a more spacious public square and better access for cyclists.
