London Stock Exchange hails propcos inspiring Britain

London-Stock-Exchange-sign-THUMB.jpegA total of 24 real estate companies have been highlighted by the London Stock Exchange as inspirational for Britain.

The companies were chosen after they showed growth of more than 50% on average in the past 12 months along with evidence of outperformance in the sector.

Among those listed in the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain report were Helical Bar, M3 Property, Palace Capital, Zoopla and Great Portland Estates.

With an annual growth rate of 123%, real estate was mentioned as one of the nation’s fastest growing sectors.

London and South East companies comprised most of the firms listed, followed by those in the North West.

The report was backed by HSBC, Cenkos Securities and the Business Growth Fund.
