The home of Mayfair’s Mallett Antiques is up for sale.
Levy Real Estate is marketing the lease of the 11,000 sq ft Ely House at 37 Dover Street, W1, for offers in excess of £2.5m.
Levy is acting on behalf of Mallett Antiques, which is vacating the property.
Founded in 1865, Mallett is one of the world’s oldest antique dealers, specialising in the finest furniture and works of art, mainly from the 18th century and Regency period.
It will continue to trade in the West End from a new, as-yet unnamed, location.
Levy Real Estate consultant Roger Sharpley said: “Ely House is a superb building and, given the changing face of Dover Street, it will be fascinating to see who is interested in acquiring the lease, which runs until 2026.”
