Office Group to transform former police HQ

Tintagel-House-570pxThe Office Group has submitted plans to create its largest workplace at the former Metropolitan Police HQ at Tintagel House, SE1.

The Stanton Williams-designed proposal would extend the 1960s building at ground and first floor to create 105,000 sq ft of private offices and co-working space, as well as an art gallery, a Work It gym, studios and workshops.

Office Group bought the site in 2014 from the Reuben brothers for £30m. Construction will cost £15m, and the scheme is expected to have an end value of around £55m. Plans for the 0.8-acre site also include landscaping along the Albert Embankment. DP9 advised on planning.
