Australian retail group Wesfarmers has completed its purchase of Homebase from Home Retail Group for £340m.
The deal will see the retailer take control of 265 Homebase stores in the UK.
Wesfarmers plans to turn Homebase stores into its own Australian brand Bunnings, which is one of the country’s largest suppliers of outdoor living and DIY products.
The purchase completed on 27 February.
