Barnett Ross sold all but one of the 30 lots offered at its 25 February sale at Radisson Blu Portman hotel, W1, raising £11.7m. The largest lot, a freehold building in New Barnet, north London, let to Tesco with four flats above, generating £79,242 pa, sold for £2m – a 4% gross yield.
Bidders reeling for Pugh lot
A fishing lake on a 13.7-acre site with development potential in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, is being offered by Pugh with a guide of £100,000 to £150,000. The auction takes place on 30 March at the Feathers Hotel in Ledbury.
CP Bigwood raises £17.5m
CP Bigwood raised £17.5m at its 25 February sale at Aston Villa Football Club, Birmingham. Out of 138 lots, 14 sold prior and 112 in the room, equating to a success rate of 93%.
Seaside arcade on offer
A former cinema being used as a seaside amusement arcade in Bridlington, Yorkshire, is being auctioned by Pattinson, with bids due to start at £69,000. The building also includes a café and office space, and has a potential rental income of £10,400 pa. The sale takes place on 9 March at Doncaster Rovers Football Club.
