Vauxhall rents hit record high

agreement-signature-generic-THUMB.jpegTwo lettings at more than £50 per sq ft have set record rents for Vauxhall.

Nutmeg has taken space at Workspace’s Vox Studios, 45 Durham Street, SE11, while Interserve has taken space at 47 Durham Street, SE11. The landlord is believed to be Notting Hill Housing.

The combined lettings total 19,000 sq ft.

The previous headline rent was set by lettings to City Wire and Countryside at £41.40 per sq ft last year.

Rupert Cowling, partner at Union Street Partners, said: “Driven by the regeneration of Nine Elms, we’re starting to see a real renaissance of Vauxhall, which despite its central location and connectivity has always been an overlooked and undervalued location.”

Union Street Partners acted on behalf of the landlords.
