Admiralty House is one of five Whitehall buildings being operated in accordance with certain sharia laws after the buildings were used in an Islamic bond scheme, or sukuk.
The government issued the bonds two years ago. A Treasury spokesman said three government buildings were being used to underpin the issue – Richmond House, Wellington House and 22-26 Whitehall.
