Friargate Coventry has submitted plans for a speculative second office building at the proposed 3.2m sq ft Friargate project in the city centre.
The 14-storey office, designed by Allies & Morrison, will total 195,000 sq ft and sit next to the 100,000 sq ft Coventry City Council offices currently being built, which were prelet at around £22 per sq ft.
Friargate comprises more than 25 buildings, including 14 office blocks and a potential hotel.
The 15-year phased regeneration is being delivered by Friargate Coventry, a partnership between Dublin-based developer Cannon Kirk and the council.
