Done’s Manchester PRS scheme approved

Betfred owner Fred Done’s property company has received planning consent for a 399-unit PRS development in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Property (Done) Limited’s The Crescent will comprise 156 one-bedroom, 223 two-bedroom and 20 three-bedroom flats spread over three buildings comprising six, 17 and 22 storeys.

Drawn up by 5plus Architects, the plans also include 8,890 sq ft of commercial space, car parking and secure storage for 236 bicycles.

As part of the new development the former Black Horse Hotel will be demolished.

Construction is due to start later this year and complete by 2020.
